Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using QuickCam ("the Service"), operated by QuickCam ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

QuickCam provides RTSP-to-HLS video streaming services, allowing users to convert RTSP camera feeds into embeddable HLS streams. The Service includes stream management, video processing, and hosting of stream content.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Stream content that is illegal, harmful, or violates the rights of others
  • Stream content without proper authorization from the camera owner
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Use the Service for surveillance without proper legal authority and consent

5. Payment and Billing

Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis through our payment processor, Paddle. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges. You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of your billing period.

6. Content and Data

You retain ownership of all content you stream through the Service. You grant us a limited license to process and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing the Service. We do not claim ownership of your streams or recordings.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect availability. We are not liable for any downtime or data loss.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may close your account at any time. Upon termination, your streams will be deactivated and stored content may be deleted after a reasonable period.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, QuickCam shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and the applicable member state where QuickCam is established. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
